Concentration: Entrepreneurship
​
Mode: Mentorship, at-distance. (This program was developed for a student that wanted to start a small business. The student lived in a different state from the mentor's home, so they communicated through texting, calling, and video sessions. The work was carefully described in assignments and work packets, and the student completed the units at their own schedule. They paid a flat tuition fee of $2200 for three years, and the remaining year was self-directed with no tuition. They paid an accreditation fee of $200 annually for four years.)

Credit Requirements

--10 credits for general learning in history, literature, science, philosophy, and business (primarily through audiobooks, discussions with mentor, small self-directed assignments, YouTube videos, and best-selling business books)

--10 credits for general learning through film (movies selected by mentor for their layered narrative)
​
--20 credits for general learning through audiobooks (audiobooks selected by mentor for their ability to create interest, maintain it, and reward it, and also their style and structure of prose)
​
--10 credits for general learning through handheld books (selected by mentor and student, used to develop reading strategies (skimming, skip reading, section reading, standard reading, etc.)
​
--5 credits for writing (primarily business plans, business proposals, website design, and marketing materials)
​
--15 credits for Christian Life units (books, online lectures, movies, volunteer work, discussions about doctrines and biblical tensions, a Great Courses series ("Jesus and the Gospels"), and one complete readthrough of the bible
​
--50 credits for developing a viable business plan, registering the business, developing marketing and advertising materials, demonstrating financial management and sustainability, and executing the business operation for a minimum of one year

Concentration: Writing for Publication
​
Mode: Mentorship, local. (This program was developed for a student that wanted to write and publish a book. The student lived in the same area as the mentor, so they met in person twice a week. The work was carefully described in assignments and work packets, and the student completed the units at their own schedule. They paid a flat tuition fee of $2200 for three years, and the remaining year was self-directed with no tuition. They paid an accreditation fee of $200 annually for five years.)

Credit Requirements
​
--50 credits for general learning by completing 10 manuals normally used for the dual-enrollment associate of arts degree (each manual covers time management, reading strategies, communication skills, philosophy, poetry, short story, film, and writing)
​
--20 credits for general learning through models (studying authors to learn their working habits, their styles, their publication methods)
​
--20 credits for discussion with various authors and Ravenburn faculty
​
--30 credits for the book proposal, the drafting of a finished manuscript, publication planning, and the successful submission of the manuscript to an agent
