a-la-carte

When you take a class one at a time during a quarter, you are doing a-la-carte.

We don't mind if you want to do this, but please remember that our classes are designed for full-time college students who have the vision, energy, and motivation to be committed to the workload and time commitments.

Also, if you are interested in taking only one class now to get an idea of how we teach, that's great. But if you do decide to enroll in a program later on, you probably will have to spend the same amount of time (20 quarters) to earn the degree. Your a-la-carte classes will count toward the final number of credits you'll need, but toward the end of your program you may find you need an extra quarter or two (or a few summer sessions) to actually get all the requirements in.
